Avalon Center - Michael's Landing in Kyle, Texas is a 54-acre green, carbon-free footprint development planned as a pedestrian friendly mixed-use project with 21 acres for commercial/retail uses along a major thoroughfare, 22 acres of town homes/multifamily and single family housing, acreage for open space, and a solar array to power residential homes and commercial/retail pads.

The commercial retail portion of the project is currently designed to accommodate sites for a child care center, small offices and neighborhood commercial or convenience stores, restaurants, and gas stations. Or, the commercial portion of the project can be easily redesigned for a single purpose user as a "campus" or similar large user.

The residential component of this development will be accessed through semi-gated structures and narrow streets. Residents will have easy access to Interstate 35 and myriad large national retail stores and Seton Health Hospital services. The development has four new schools within a 1.5 mile radius and provides a relatively easy commute north to the University of Texas in downtown Austin as well as a simple 15 minute commute south to Texas State in San Marcos.

The project is located on FM 150, 1.5 miles east of Interstate 35. The commute to Dell, Samsung, and other north Austin centers is about 30 to 35 minutes using the newly opened toll rode just north of Kyle on Interstate 35.
